Caretaker

We are looking for a self motivated, organised person with excellent interpersonal and time management skills, to work as Caretaker at Titoki Healing Centre, Whakatane. This position encompasses a wide range of duties to provide a well-maintained environment.

Applicants must:

* Have a positive, calm, and flexible nature to be able to work positively alongside staff and guests of Titoki;

* Have a wide range of handyman skills and capabilities;

* Be physically fit;

* Have experience and aptitude to manage / interact positively with other staff and contractors;

* Be able to work unsupervised;

* Have a full drivers license;

* Have knowledge of safe workplace practices.

Titoki Cook/Chef

Do you love to bless others with nutritious food?

We are looking for an experienced chef or cook to join our team at Titoki Healing Centre.

Ideally a couple to live on-site. However it may be that the Lord is calling a single person to this ministry. We will prayerfully consider all who feel called to apply.

Preferable Requirements:

- Has a garden to table, healthy eating ethos to make full use of our orchard and vegetable gardens

- Has a heart for hospitality and healing

- Happy to sit, eat and chat with guests

- Happy to be part of the morning bible devotions roster

- Willing to work some weekends

Job Description:

- Catering for small and larger groups – anywhere from six up to around 30 people.

- Coordinate orchard and vegetable gardens to maximise production.

- Oversee harvesting and preserving of produce.

- Build relationships with local food producers as part of procurement.

- Oversee and care for chickens (once we get some)!
