  • Introducing the Galbraiths!
Hi, we are the Galbraith Family. We moved from Motueka in the South Island to Whakatane earlier this year, just prior to the Covid-19 outbreak. We are very excited to start our new position as the Titoki leadership couple, as life returns to normal. Our three boys are here with us, and they are very much enjoying the space, cows and chickens.

Glen has a background in both agriculture and horticulture, as well as community work and projects. Elinor is a trained spiritual director, spa therapist and retreat facilitator. We combine contemplative spiritual formation with a holistic outlook, for all who seek the sacred, and we are passionate about hospitality, nourishment and supporting others in their “wholeness” journeys. Together we have many years of experience in offering tools and encouragement to a diverse range of people.

We look forward to meeting and serving all who come and spend time here, and are eager to help Titoki grow and connect with more people.

  • Covid-19: Moving into Alert Level 3
Congratulations on reaching Alert Level 3, New Zealand! Just a reminder that Titoki will remain closed to visitors, volunteers and contractors, who do not live on site during Alert Level 3. While it doesn't seem like alot will change to our social lives in terms of social distancing, I'm sure we all agree that the change in alert level is very encouraging nonetheless. God bless 🙏

    - Titoki does not classify as an essential service, so we MUST close to visitors, volunteers, contractors who do not live on site.

    - As of Thursday, 26th March 2020, breaches of self-isolation for non-essential services will be enforced by NZ Police and NZ Defence Officers and carries both fines and jail time.

    - If anyone who has been at Titoki becomes an infected case, Public Health officials will contact trace and need to know where they have been.
