Breaking Up With Fear | August 22 - 23, 2020

Breaking Up With Fear

Saturday, 22nd August: 10am to 4pm & Sunday, 23rd August: 10am to 3pm

What to expect

A weekend retreat with the author of ‘Where Fear Rules’, Janene Forlong.

The retreat covers:

  • What fear looks like when it’s ruling
  • Road to fear
  • What the Bible says
  • Flight to freedom
  • Getting free—staying free

We will start by looking at what fear is like when it is ruling, then we go down the road to find out how we got into the state we are in. We'll discuss how fear can grow into something much bigger than we ever expected, and then look at the options we have, to either stick with fear or fight for freedom.

Checking out what the Bible says is really helpful for our perspective, and then we will explore a perfect tool-box for evicting fear. After that we look at the free life, how to keep the freedom and what responsibilities come with this new-found liberty.

During the weekend we will have times of worship, free time to reflect and relax and meet new people, and lots of delicious food!
