Titoki Healing Centre Celebrates 40 Years with Open Day
You are warmly invited to join us at Titoki Healing Centre on March 5th, for an Open Day, Picnic Lunch and Thanksgiving Service to mark the occasion of our 40th anniversary.
40 Years of Healing & Wholeness
Rev Don Ferguson bravely founded Titoki 40 years ago, with a vision for a place of retreat devoted to wholeness and healing of mind, body and soul through the loving power of Christ. Through the years this vision has been carried and lived out by dedicated men and women, and countless others have received physical and emotional healing, miracles and a greater sense of restorative wholeness in their lives.
As we mark this 40 year anniversary, we have much to remember and much to celebrate!
Open Day Celebrations & Picnic Lunch | 11am - 4pm
Titoki Open Days are something of a tradition and are loved for their good old-fashioned, 'country social' flavour, complete with produce, baking and plants stalls. There will be cakes, jams, preserves, plants, fruits and vegetables available for sale.
Morning tea and lunch stalls will be available, including a BBQ and a hangi, so bring a picnic rug and enjoy sharing good food and good company in Titoki's beautiful grounds. The gardens are looking immaculate thanks to the hard work of staff and volunteers!
There will be local music groups playing throughout the day, and a continuous photo slide-show 'From Grassroots till Now' will be on display.
Wander around the grounds and gardens and enjoy this special place once again - or perhaps for the first time!
Thanksgiving Service 2pm
Rev. Bert Schoneveld will lead us in a Thanksgiving Service at 2pm, which will be held on the grounds next to the chapel. This will be a special time of prayer, ministry, memories and reflection. All are welcome.
