Who Is The Retreat For?

This workshop will be for Christians who want to learn how to discover and activate the gifts of the Holy Spirit that are uniqely theirs. We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are given to empower everyday believers to tap into the supernatural realm in a natural way.

Operating in the prophetic gifting is not just the domain of the spiritually elite or church leaders but is available to all who desire to hear God, to see with His eyes and speak His words of life to people and to the situations around them.

The retreat focus will include:

  • teaching that explores the reality that we are all supernatural beings that are having a human experience.
  • hands on practical opportunities to stir up and practice operating in the prophetic in safe, small group environments and in an outreach context on Saturday morning.
  • extended times of worship, prayer, teaching, ministry and plenty of fellowship with good home made food at the beautiful Titoki homestead.

About Joe & Bev Mathews

Joe and Bev Mathews are graduates of the Bible College of New Zealand.  They have worked extensively in cross-cultural ministry and in missions, both nationally and internationally for over 30 years.  They have worked in prison ministry, street evangelism, mentoring mens groups and marriage counselling.

Their passion is to equip Christians to discover and activate the God-given gift within themselves and to function in that in a natural way as they live out their Christian life. They want to demystify the mindset that supernatural gfts are just for the 'professional Christian'.

In 2011-13, Joe and Bev funded and facilitated a Personal and Practical School of Revival called NZ Revival Training School International.  They presently have an itinerant ministry working with churches nationally and internationally.  They also serve as part of the team at the Titoki Christian Healing Centre in Whakantane.

" Our hope for this weekend is that people will rediscover who they are in Christ, what they carry on the inside of them and what they can do!' In a safe, learning environment we will all encounter the Lord in a fresh way and learn that we are supernatural beings having a human experience." ~ Joe and Bev.
