Titoki Wicking Garden Workshop

Please join us Saturday, November 12th for our Titoki Wicking Garden Workshop.  We, at Titoki Healing Centre have been relooking at how we are gardening and how we can do so in  the most effective and sustainable way possible.  We are planning to enhance our present garden by adding in some new wicking gardens and thought this would be a great opportunity to open it up to the community to share knowledge and learn together.

We are blessed to be able to welcome the kind people from Tauranga's Good Neighbour's Trust who will help lead the workshop and share their insights which they have put to use in creating various community gardens in the Tauranga area. They have literally created a movement which has brought life, nourishment and generosity into these communities.  Please visit their website for more information about who they are and what they do.

Who can come?

This workshop is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about this gardening concept.

What is the format?

The workshop will be hands on and interactive.  We will have guest speakers sharing with us about various concepts including:

Sustainable living and gardening

Organic gardening

Worm farming

Sustainable back yards

Is there a cost?

Yes.  There will be two options.

Half Day $25  -  Come attend for a half day and enjoy morning tea and lunch with us.  (Starts at 9:30.  Finish with lunch at 12:30)

Full Day $50  -  Come for the whole day and enjoy morning tea, lunch and a BBQ dinner to finish off the day.

Can I stay at Titoki?

We have a few guest rooms available for booking if you are coming from out of town and wish to stay Friday night, November 11th.

Cost is $125 for a double room (one person) or $185 for a double room (two people).  Single rooms are available for $110.  This price would include your dinner on Friday night and breakfast on Saturday morning.   Room availability is limited.  Cost of workshop is extra.
